We have had an amazing time since we opened our doors to our guests, we are enjoying ever minute of our journey. We are so lucky to have had such wonderful guests stay at our happy place Glenholme Guesthouse and we would like to thank you all for making this so memorable..
We have just had a mini break away to Sweden for Christmas which was very special for us as it was my first Christmas in Sweden and Mikael had not celebrated Christmas in Sweden for 30 years so it was lovely to catch up with family and friends. But most important eating all the wonderful Swedish Christmas food and drinks...
During our stay we managed to burn off a few calories running in the country side
We also had to go for a dip in the sea as we was missing our Scarborough swim. The temperature was minus 6 degrees so we had to break the ice for that dip, it was freezing but we felt exhilarated and it was very memorable.
New Year we visited our special friends in Cornwall and of course New Year's morning we had to keep up the traditions and go for a swim in the sea which this time the water was much warmer so no need to break any ice for that swim..
We are now back home renovating and upgrading some of our rooms, room 6 we have removed the bath replacing with a large walk-in shower and we have nearly completed the whole bathroom, which will look amazing..
