Walk to Cloughton and Burniston.

A few months ago we had a great walk along the coast following the Cleveland way.

Starting the walk at the end of the north beach near the old Scalby mill pub.

walk up the steps and continue along the coastal path

There are beautiful views and deserted beaches

just continue along the path

When you come to this point head away from the coast

You will come to Cloughton a lovely village. The Red Lion Pub was a great place to stop for a refreshing drink

From here we walked back towards Scarborough we passed by Blacksmiths Arms

At the end of the village we turned left so we could be on the cinder track back towards Scarborough

you can then follow the track back to Scarborough or head back to the Cleveland way
